Unlike other furniture companies, Homey Design Store never charges for delivery. Since our start 15 years ago we have grown to become one of the best companies in the niche of luxury furniture.
We offer two distinct delivery options that set us miles apart from any competitor.
All of our items are offered with FREE SHIPPING to delivery addresses within California and Las Vegas. Outside these regions, category-based shipping will be applied. Please note: some addresses in very remote, rural areas (mountains, very narrow or unpaved roads) or urban areas with limited access (excessive tolls/high traffic/one-way streets) may not be accessible by the delivery truck and may incur additional charges. If you think you may live in one of these areas, please contact us for rates prior to making your purchase.
Inside delivery to a home or office may be available for an additional flat fee - $49. If inside delivery is needed, please contact us by phone or e-mail prior to shipping your order so we may provide you with a price quote. Fees are charged based on size of the order, geographic location and level of service provided. Please contact us prior to shipping your order for price and availability. Threshold delivery provides that the product is carried over a threshold to the first available room in your home.
White glove delivery may be available for an additional flat fee - $99. You will be contacted in advance to schedule a delivery appointment. At the time of delivery, your order will be brought into the room of your choice, assembled, and we will even remove the packaging materials when we are done. You will be thankful when we are hauling in that new 500-pound china cabinet, not you! Understandably, this superior service is far more costly for us to utilize instead of utilizing the inferior delivery types our competitors employ. However, we do believe the extra expenses we incur for this great delivery method leads to higher customer satisfaction overall. This is due to the fact that the items arrive correctly and in the proper condition they should the first time around and delivered in the most hassle-free manner possible. Homey Design Store will work tirelessly to make sure that you have a positive experience working with us; as we seek to create long term customers, not one time sales, like other online furniture sites.
Smaller items (and office furniture from Bush and Bestar), that list the "FREE HOME DELIVERY" will ship via FedEx, UPS, or LTL (less than truckload) service. If assembly is required it will be the customer's responsibility to assemble the furniture. Only a small percentage of our orders ship this way, however, we do offer items that it's simply not economical to do a white glove delivery.
Items that are in stock usually ship to our delivery centers 2 to 7 days after we confirm the order. Delivery time to your home is generally 2 to 4 weeks from when your order is placed (based on where you are located). We have over 40 delivery centers, and if you are fortunate to live near one of them, it is very possible that you will receive your new furniture sooner! Since Inventory changes frequently, after you place your order, once we collect information from the warehouses and our transportation partners, we will call you to provide an estimated delivery date. We will send you to order notification updates via e-mail as soon as they are available and continue to keep you updated as the order moves along.
